Aspiring Jiu-Jitsu Champions of All Categories Encouraged to Register

The 10th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship from 16 to 28 April

United Arab Emirates, March 28, 2018 – Aspiring Jiu-Jitsu champions of all categories are encouraged to register for the 10th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, taking place between 16th – 28th April, at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi. The event, is the largest event on the Jiu-Jitsu world calendar, and proudly marks the tenth-year celebration of the tournament. The registration is open until 10th April and participants can register online via the official website: .

This year’s tournament will feature unprecedented participation of local, regional and international competitors and over the course of 13 days will bring together the most famous names in Jiu-Jitsu. Winners have the chance to take home their part of over $1 million, the highest prize fund in the history of the tournament as well as a chance to win a Range Rover Evoque. In addition to being one of the top events in the annual Jiu-Jitsu calendar, this year’s edition will feature a wide number of festivities in honour of the anniversary as it celebrates ten years of excellence at both local and international levels.

Competing athletes include Adolfo Correia, Ruben Lemos, tope ranked players in Africa, Youngam Noh and Joao Carlos Kuraoka champions of Asia, Krzysztof Flak and Adam Wardzinski from Europe, Matthew Leighton and Jonathan Satava from North America, Lachlan Giles and Ben Hodgkinson from Oceania and Igor Silva and Jose Lima from South America.
